How to View Your Purchase History in Coinbase

If you have been using Coinbase for a while, you may encounter a situation where you need to check a previous purchase. Fortunately, Coinbase makes it easy to view your purchase history. You can visit the Coinbase website or use the mobile app to track down this valuable information. Either way, finding your Coinbase transaction history will only take you a few seconds.

Viewing Purchase History in Coinbase on an iPhone

Coinbase is an exchange platform used to buy, trade and store different types of cryptocurrencies. While you can go to the Coinbase website to view your purchase history, you can also do it in the mobile app. However, there is a catch.

Whether you use your computer or your mobile device, you can only view the purchase history for a specific cryptocurrency or only your recent transactions. The only way to see your complete purchase history is to download the report to your device.

If you were to go to the ‘Wallet’ tab on the Coinbase mobile app, you should be able to see your current balance, which consists of all the assets you currently have. In principle, you will see an overview of the total value of your account here. However, your purchase history will not appear in this section.

To view the purchase history for a specific cryptocurrency on the Coinbase mobile app, you need to do the following:

Like iPhones, you can only use Coinbase’s mobile app to view the purchase history of a specific cryptocurrency, but not the entire transaction history on Android devices. To view the history of a particular cryptocurrency purchase, follow the steps below:

  2. Log in to your account.

  4. On the next page, go to the Crypto Wallet tab.

Viewing purchase history in Coinbase on a PC

If you want to view your purchase history on your PC, the Coinbase dashboard looks different. To be more specific, you can only see your recent trades. To see only recently executed transactions, do the following:

  1. Go to the Coinbase website.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Click on the bills tab in the top menu.
  4. Select the account for a specific cryptocurrency from the left sidebar.

All recent transactions are displayed on the right side of the screen. If you’re using Coinbase Pro, you can find your account history like this:

View your complete transaction history

As stated earlier, the only way to fully view your transaction history on Coinbase is to download the full report to your device.

Please note that your Coinbase transaction history will need to be downloaded to a computer as you are using a web browser. Technically, you can also download your purchase history on your phone, as long as you use a web browser and not the Coinbase mobile app. Here’s what you need to do to export your transaction history on Coinbase:

  1. Go to the Coinbase website.
  2. Log in to your Coinbase account.
  3. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the browser.
  4. Go to Reports in the drop-down menu. This will take you to the Transaction History page.
  5. Next Transaction history (always)Click on the Generate report button in the top right corner.
  6. Choose between CSV report and PDF report.
  7. Select the Generate report button again.
  8. To elect To download.

It takes a few seconds to generate the transaction history and download it to your device. Before generating your report, you can also choose what type of report it will be. You can filter information in the Always, All resourcesand All transactions boxes, which are set this way by default.

  • The Always box, you can determine whether you want a transaction history report for the past 30 days, the entire year, or your entire purchase history.
