Dollar General and Dollar Tree: A Tale of Two Charts

The retail mishmash continues as dollar stores reported their gains on Thursday.

Both Dollar General (DG) and Dollar Tree (DLTR) decline after reporting quarterly results.

Dollar General stock is down 1% and down a whopping 4.8% this morning, while Dollar Tree is down significantly more, currently down about 10%.

It follows a fading of Macy’s after earnings (m) after a first rally and a deep setback in Nordstrom (JWN) yesterday. walmart (WMT) has given up almost all of its post-profit gains, while Target (TGT) also remains lower.
