Three Signs It’s Easier to Buy a House Right Now

The US housing market is showing signs of housing, if not low prices, for frustrated US home buyers.

That’s a new Zillow’s takeaway (ZG) report showing that house prices have fallen for the first time since 2012. According to the Zillow Home Value Index, the price of a typical home fell 0.1% in July 2022, or an average of $366.

The typical US home price now stands at $357,000, Zillow reported.

“The housing market is eventually correcting for extreme pressures during the pandemic,” the report said. “However, the challenges to new supply and strong long-term housing demand driven by massive younger generations aging and first-time home buying suggest that, as the slowdown continues, there will be plenty of buyers ready to move on. to go.”
