HP Inc (HPQ) hits session lows on the day, down about 7% at last check.
The drop comes after the tech company reported post-close gains yesterday and the results weren’t as inspiring.
Revenue fell about 4% year over year to $4.7 billion and analyst expectations down about $1 billion. Normally that would crush a stock. Surprisingly, earnings of $1.04 per share grew nearly 20% year over year.
Investors may be willing to overlook the revenue shortfall rather than the strong earnings results, but adjusted earnings were not as strong and the company lowered its expectations.
