Property, goods worth millions of Naira destroyed as fire razes storey building in Osun ‣ Star Potter

Goods and property worth millions of naira were reportedly destroyed after a nighttime fire destroyed a storey building in Osun state.

According to reports, the incident that caused unrest among residents took place in the wee hours of Thursday, November 3, 2022.

The affected building is said to be a shopping plaza in the popular Alekuwodo market area of ​​Osogbo.

It was learned that the Osun State Fire and Rescue Service is currently fighting to delay the inferno at the complex and has prevented it from spreading to neighboring stalls.

At the time of this report, the cause of the inferno had yet to be determined.

This comes two days after at least one person was killed in a fire in Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island in Lagos state. The fire is believed to have been caused by a generator explosion.

According to witnesses, a car with three passengers, parked near the building where the explosion took place, caught fire.

Several hours after the incident at an Adeola Odeku on Victoria Island, another fire incident occurred at Tejuosho Market in Yaba, Lagos.
