Despite the Christmas and New Year holidays declared by the federal government,
the Campaign Board for Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Katsina State, has intensified its campaign program from ward to ward across the state.

The campaign team that previously completed the first phase of its campaign in Daura zone after visiting the seven local governments in the area on December 18, entered a one-week break, but resumed its campaign activities in Katsina Zone since December 26, second christmas day. .

As can be seen in the route description for the Katsina zone made available to journalists by Abdulkadir Ahmed, the Director, Media & Publicity of the Dikko-Jobe Campaign Council, their campaign train will be in Batsari LGA on Wednesday 28 December and from continue from there to Safana LGA on Thursday 29 Dec.

The campaign train will then travel to Dutsinma on Friday 30 December and to Danmusa on Saturday 31 December.

From there, it will stop at the capital, Katsina LGA, on Sunday, January 1, 2023 before continuing to Batagarawa LGA on Monday, January 2, 2023.

It then moves on to Charanchi on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 and then to Rimi LGA on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 before completing the second phase of his campaign at Kurfi LGA on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Meanwhile, Abdulkadir said in a press statement on Tuesday that the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Dikko Umar Radda, has donated 200 sacks of rice and some money (unspecified amount) to some Christians in the state to help them celebrate Christmas.

Abdulkadir noted in the statement that the donation was made through the Director of the Diversity Committee of the Katsina State APC Campaign Council, Prince Uche Okonkwo.
