The Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood was last week thrown into mourning after the loss of one of its veteran actors, Samuel Obiago to the cold arms of death. The talented actor died in the early hours of Thursday 23rd December 2021 that is three days to Christmas.
According to information we gathered, it was reported that the talented actor suffered from a stroke for some time now, which has been managed, but sadly he died in the early hours of 2am on Thursday 23rd December 2021. The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas confirmed the news of his death on Thursday when he said the Iroko has fallen.
The actor, who was popularly known as Daddy Sam by his colleagues, had a career in the banking sector before he quit banking for acting.
Sam Obiago is a famous Nollywood actor, producer and a television personality. He acts mostly as a king, title chief, elder, father and uncle in epic, action, tragic and glamour movies alongside with Zubby Michael, Ken Erics, Regina Daniels, Yul Edochie, Chika Ike, Destiny Etiko, Chizzy Alichi, Rachael Okonkwo and a host of other top Nollywood celebrities. He is very gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. He knows how to interpret his roles very well, and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.
Sam Obiago was born and bred in Kaduna State in the northern part of Nigeria. He completed his primary school education in Asaba, Delta State in the south southern part of Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After which he relocated to Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria for his secondary school education and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate

Popular actress, Ada Ameh is dead.
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Emeka Rollas confirmed that Ameh died on Sunday at a Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) hospital in Delta State.
According to reports, the actress died in Warri, Delta State around 11 pm on Sunday.
Ameh was said to have been a guest of an oil company toyshop and his family when she suddenly collapsed.
It was gathered that she was rushed to the NNPC’s hospital but passed on before they arrived the facility.
Report has it that several movie stars have been trooping the facility on Monday morning to see her remains.
Ameh, became famous following the role of she played (Anita) in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, and was more recently adorned for her comic characters especially in the series, The Johnsons.
Born on May 15, 1974 in Ajegunle, Lagos, the popular actress shared a video of her eating with the family around 12:53pm on Sunday on her official Instagram page.
